Lynx win WNBA draft lottery

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Lynx will have the top pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft, after winning the draft lottery on Tuesday.

Minnesota, which tied for the second-worst record this past season with a mark of 13-21, had a 38 percent chance of winning thanks to a combination of picks from a trade with Connecticut last season.

Minnesota also has the fourth pick in the draft while, Tulsa, which finished a league-worst 6-28 and had a 44.2 percent chance of the first pick, has the second pick. Chicago will select third as that squad had a 17.8 percent chance for the top pick after finishing third-worst with a 14-20 mark.

Los Angeles, San Antonio, Tulsa (via Phoenix), Atlanta, Indiana and New York round out the top 10. Washington has the 11th pick while Seattle, which swept Atlanta in the 2010 WNBA Finals, has the 12th selection.
