Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Toronto FC provided an injury update regarding Torsten Frings on Tuesday, announcing that the midfielder strained his right hamstring during the first half of the club's loss to Seattle Sounders FC and is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.

Frings exited Saturday's match in the 24th minute after appearing to be overcome with a great deal of discomfort. He signed with TFC as a Designated Player last summer.
